Can You Be Trusted?

We are all working on trusting God more. In our individual situations, in our marriages, and our families. We are encouraged in the scriptures to trust in the Lord and lean not to our own understanding, but in all our ways, acknowledge Him. Proverbs 3:5-6
But, can God trust you?

Can He trust you to be obedient to His Word? There are many people who are counting on you in life. Your children, your wife, your husband, you employer, your parents, your flock, and your ministry. Are you faithful to your calling, and to your responsibilities in the world around you?
Can God trust you to carry out His plan? Can He trust you to take that stand you must take? Can He trust you step up to the plate and be the man or woman He has called you to be. Can He trust you to have that conversation that is much needed with “you know who?” Can He trust you to listened to that “still small voice?”
He has placed a lot of responsibility in your hands. Have we taken it for granted? He has not. He is trusting us. Have we just pushed it to the side? Or are we living a life where we can be trusted by God?
While we are trusting God to work out things in our lives..........
Stop…just for a moment…. Take a look in the mirror and answer that question honestly, Ask yourself, can God trust me?
Have you been faithful? No, I am not talking about to the people around you or in your circle. You can fool people and live a life that looks fabulous. But there is an all-seeing eye that sees and knows ALL things.
Know this: He has placed things and people in your life on purpose, intentionally. First and foremost, He is trusting in you to take care of business. That is a huge trust.
Someone is going to need you to make a difference in their lives. Can you be trusted by God to take care of His business?

1 Thessalonians 2:1-6 You yourselves know, brothers, that our visit to you was not in vain. As you are aware, we had already endured suffering and shameful treatment in Philippi. But in the face of strong opposition, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God.
